3 - Tesla technology and open MRI

Why 3 Tesla

The technology is decisive for the quality of the recordings. That is why we opted for the currently most modern
3 Tesla device. A finding that should bring you closer to a targeted therapy requires modern technology and an experienced doctor who knows how to read the images. If you would like to find out more about magnetic resonance tomography, you can also contact us for more information by sending an email.

Open MRI - proven diagnostic technology for more patients

Many patients shy away from an MRI examination. The volume and the tightness in the examination tunnel put off many patients. Some practices also advertise an "open MRI" and mean only an examination tube that is as large as possible. A real, open MRI has no tunnel or examination tube. As you can see in the picture above, the sides of the device are 75% open. This reduces the oppressive feeling of claustrophobia. Our open MRI is therefore a real alternative for anxious patients, children, adolescents or people with increased body weight.

An experience like in the cinema -
In-Bore-Experience

It is essential for the examination that you are relaxed. That's why you choose your favorite music with a click - and the color of the lighting in the entire room is adjusted. For visual support, there is a suitable video that you can watch over a mirror during the examination. Have we piqued your interest? You are welcome to get more detailed information by email.

Treatment and advice - always in dialogue, always with the time it takes

Talking to you is very important to us. You are at the center of our actions - because you are the reason for our work! Information is therefore paramount at every single point of your contact with our practice. For that you need TIME - time that we take. Whether on the phone, by email - at reception or during a detailed discussion of the findings with Dr. Hartmann. If you disagree and it does not reflect your experience, then we have done something wrong and would kindly ask you to let us know!

Treatment priorities

In principle, MRI examinations can be carried out on the entire body. A major advantage of MRI over other examination methods is that it does not work with radiation. An MRI is often required in the orthopedic sector. Head, spine, shoulder, hip and back exams are examples. But other specialist disciplines also benefit from the high-resolution imaging of the MRI. For example, urological MRI of the prostate or gynecological MRI of the pelvis can support the diagnosis. But an MRI can also contribute to diagnostics in angiology. The exact representation of the position and the morphology of a blood vessel system of all large arteries in the area of the brain-supplying vessels on the neck and the cerebral vessels, the heart, the kidneys, the legs and the hand in a three-dimensional image in many layers and levels without "bloody catheter intervention" can provide crucial pointers and information. The details can be made even more visible using contrast media.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by email or phone.
